Recording Dance Vocals: Monitoring for Singers
When you are recording dance vocals the singer or vocalist needs to hear the other music. If you would simply turn up some speakers everything will get recorded on the vocal channel, so of course you need headphones and you need to create some setup to allow the singer to hear the rhythm tracks and his or her own voice. In general this is a great phrase to keep in mind:
