Recording Dance Vocals: Headphone Bleed
Headphone bleed can be an annoying problem when recording Dance Vocals. Headphone bleed occurs when sounds from the headphones get recorded with the vocals through the vocal microphone. When you are recording guitar or drums this is usually less of a problem because these instruments are pretty loud and the microphones are far away, and not aimed at the headphones. When you are recording a singer this is much more of a problem, the mouth is very close to the ears and the microphones used for vocals are usually very sensitive, especially when you are recording sensitive and quiet prats.
