hi, i have a friend who has a washburn xb100 bass (i kno its not 'high quality' but....)and he said he is willing to sell it too me. he barely played it, and it is like a year old. Now i wana buy it but he asked me to name the price. what do u think a reasonable (but hopefully cheap) offer should be?........also, i already have a little crappy gorrilla practice amp for my electric guitar, would i be able to use it with the bass?.....thanks, dan | 6otep6dope6

Yes. . . Do searching on the net. . . . Because I bout an ibanez roadster2. . . . . And I got it for 250. 00(used). . . And then after I bout it I found out its not worth anymore than 100. 00. . . . . . So do some research first | Skr33n

Do a search on ebay for the model of that washburn and see what the going price is. off the top of my head i would say offer 175 and maybe settle at 200. as for the amp, turn the bass all the way down when you use it. guitar speakers are real thin and meant for small wave frequencies of a guitar. large wave frequency, like a bass, will cause it to rip. also the cone on guitar speakers is smaller and it will overheat, so keep the volume down. | |
